Corten is AI construction management software for small and mid-size general contractors. Its AI reads the subcontractor proposals and vendor quotes you already receive, then loads the numbers into trade worksheets that roll up to your bid sheet. From the winning numbers it drafts the client proposal, with scope written from the subs' quotes, so the same data flows into budget, schedule, and invoicing.
AI construction management for general contractors means software that reads your incoming sub bids and vendor quotes and auto-loads them into a leveled bid sheet and client proposal, then carries those numbers through the job, instead of you retyping them.
Sub bids into a leveled bid sheet
Corten's AI reads the subcontractor proposals and vendor quotes you receive and loads each into the right trade worksheet, rolling every trade up to one bid sheet. You compare subs side by side and every number is queued for your review before it counts.
The proposal drafts itself
Once you pick the winning numbers, Corten drafts the client proposal from them, with scope language pulled from the subs' quotes. You edit and send instead of rewriting everything from scratch.
One connected workflow
Enter once and it flows bid to proposal to budget to schedule to invoice. Estimates convert to jobs, jobs generate invoices, and approved change orders roll into the budget automatically with canonical bid-total math, markups, and profit.
Field work from any phone
Run tasks, punch lists with photo uploads, daily logs, RFIs, and submittals from any phone or tablet, with SMS reminders to keep subs and crew moving.
Isolated, secure data
Every company's data is isolated at the database level on Supabase Postgres, with role-based access, optional two-factor authentication, and HTTPS throughout.
Frequently asked
Does Corten do drawing or quantity takeoff?
No. Corten does not read blueprints, count symbols, or measure plans. It works from the sub bids and vendor quotes you collect, so your takeoff is an upstream input that feeds the numbers Corten organizes into your bid sheet and proposal.
How does the AI actually save me time?
It reads documents you already have, subcontractor proposals, vendor quotes, receipts, timesheets, and invoices, and loads that data into the right place instead of you retyping it. Everything lands in a review queue so a person confirms it, not a black box.
Is Corten a fit for a small GC shop?
Yes. Corten is built for small and mid-size general contractors and subcontractors, from 1 to 20 people, with an Enterprise tier for 21 and up. Plans run Solo at $99/mo, Crew at $229/mo, and General Contractor at $449/mo.
Does the AI cost extra?
No. AI is included in every plan with no add-on. The 14-day free trial includes full AI.
